My birthday giveaway

Seeing as I’m spent my birthday in glorious isolation I’ve decided to run a birthday giveaway

So I’ve got together with 3 of my favourite brands to bring you a little birthday giveaway to cheer us all up. It’s a kind of self-care bundle. You can keep it (of course), or give it away as a gift to family and friends.

To enter you can comment and tag my Instagram post and I’ll be picking a winner after closing the Giveaway on Wednesday 8 April at 8pm.

Keep reading to find out all about the lovely gifts you could win.

I’m a little too ashamed to tell you how many Ness bags I have in my wardrobe. It might be in double figures. I’m a tartan girl through and through ever since my parents bought me my first tartan bag on one of our Scottish self catering holidays. Bought at the Royal Military Edinburgh Tattoo, no less, it set me off on a lifelong love that’s still very much with me. I first discovered Ness as a student in York when I somehow managed to stretch my student allowance to my first Ness bag.

I’m a great believer that a colourful, distinctive, well designed handbag – one that attracts comments wherever you go – is a valuable asset in any woman’s wardrobe.

So Ness have kindly let me choose one of my favourites for this giveaway. It’s their BEAULY tweed tote handbag in Clova fabric. It combines my love of greens and duck egg blues with a bright splash of pink. And it’s surprisingly spacious. It works wells for a day bag, has a zippered top for security and I promise it will turn heads even in the supermarket.

THE SPRING CANDLE: Let there be Light

If you thought scented candles were just for Christmas, you’d be quite wrong. They’re for lockdowns too. This beautiful crystal one, made by my super lovely Instagram friend Sarah May at Let there be light, is called “Blessed“. It’s scented with everyone’s spring favourite – Peony – “softly woven through with damask and smoky oud”. That’s an exotic wood resin – and yes, I had to look it up. Anyhow, this candle had me at peony. It’s the perfect spring scent to take you through those chilly April evenings.

Sarah May creates her candles from her home in North Wales and her Instagram is a joy to follow.

THE ORGANIC BATH TREATS: Nathalie Bond Organics

If you’ve been around here for a while you’ll know that no giveaway of mine is complete without some “self care” goodies. How about a 180ml jar of Revive Body Scrub from Nathalie Bond Organics. Perfect for a peppermint and eucalyptus bath. And a pot of super nourishing Revive skin balm for a nation of dry hands. We’re washing our hands as if our lives depended on it, but do we have something lovely to put the moisture back. It’s made with organic calendula and jojoba oils, beeswax and apricot kernel oil.

It’s a gorgeous bundle. One I’d really love to keep.

So get over to Instagram with all haste.

That’s all for now

Judith xx
